It is a regular scene in every office that employees don’t find their respective chairs near their desks that forces them to waste lot of precious minutes just to find their office allocated chair but customized to their physical personality specifications. This is a known fact and almost all the company employees experienced this fact somewhere in their long time professional career by this time. While you are experiencing it, your mind desperately wants to try to find a solution for this problem. However, somehow the whole idea looks trivial after you find and settle in your chair and finally laugh at yourself for getting such kind of thoughts.
Nevertheless, just imagine a scene where an employee with back problems has patiently tweaked his office allocated ergonomic chair settings and next day, someone else has took it away without his permission, used, and left it in a remote corner and never brought it back to his desk. How employee with back problem will find his chair in this context? Even if he is offered another chair to sit by the HR department, again he has to re-tweak all those settings just to sit and do his regular job. And what happens if this chair also taken away by other employees for some brainstorming purpose and never return it back to its original place?
There are small tracking devices out there in the market that helps people to track both living and non-living things located across the globe. These tracking devices come with a mobile application, which enables the device owner to ping the device located anywhere. Actually, the system enables you to ping from either way; mobile phone to tracker and vice-versa. This helps a lot if you are a habitual forgetting person.
In the current global market, one can find trackers like TrackR, LUPO, Trakdot, etc. which can help you to track your office-allocated chair without you going around every time asking everyone about its location.
Thank God! Technology has become matured enough to help underdogs.
