Secret for a Happy Life

When life is good, everything looks beautiful. Everything goes smooth. No one complains. No fights or debates at all. But, when we feel that life is good? Maybe when everything goes as per our expectations, predictions, etc! When life does not demand us to think differently! Actually, thinking is the time where we face lot of pressure, right? Thinking strains every grey cell of ours like hell! But, without thinking, how we get ideas for a better life? Those who enjoy the monotonous and status quo mindset, only they don’t want to think NEW; ‘I am what I am’ is their life’s concept.  And no one can make believe them that they cannot continue with that kind of mindset forever. However, there is another mindset of an energetic teenager; challenge everything. Being a rebel, again, does not suit all the circumstances that one faces in his life, right?

Seems sticking with one particular mindset does not suit us to lead a happy life. We need to change our mindset based on the situations we are put in. Yes, the only thing that is constant is CHANGE. Accept change; you become an instant success. However, success is a mind game, again!  The real success in life lies in not only keeping yourself happy but also making the people around you happy. For this, you need to connect with people and understand their mindsets. Once you achieve your objective of happiness, you love it. However, whenever you love something, either you want to stay in the same situation or keep doing it again and again, right! Again you get stuck with the same monotonous and status quo mindset!

So… Think on… Play on… Move on…!

Peace – Our Survival Mantra

Can anyone do anything on this planet? Is it possible? In that case, we should all have the same skill set, right? But, in real life, we all do not have the same skill set. May be that is the reason why we have that five-finger concept. As per the concept, though the root of all the fingers is same, each finger possesses different capabilities. It is amazing, right? Indirectly, our hand with all those five fingers reflects this world. However, we all stay united here on this planet though we know that there are ‘n’ numbers of differences between us.

What is it that is alluring us to stay on this planet and accept these differences?  What sort of value-addition do these differences provide to help us survive on this planet? Ask anyone on this planet regarding what they cherish most? A quarter of this planet’s population may say ‘Peace’. Yet, we fight with each other as if there is no chance for discussions. We all think that we are a cut above the rest. Because of that we expect something special every time when compared with the rest.

Nevertheless, all you need in life is peace and pleasant experiences/surprises. Expect peace in all the scenarios and make peace ‘a must’ on this planet. Act today!

What is your Object of Satisfaction?

What is that every person in this world wants? Is it money? Or resources? Or sympathetic and empathetic emotional support, which provides confidence to a person who is already down in life? It depends; on the outside, a scrooge may want more money, a scavenger may want more waste material to scavenge, a politician wants more scandals to scandalize the opposition party, etc. But, on scrutiny, one can find out the underlying themes of all these wants. What these people are looking for is a temporary satisfaction; the main object of satisfaction is yet to be identified by them.

The scrooge, scavenger, politician, etc, are all wanting something which when given and consumed satisfies ‘something else’ what they cherish most. They are ready to scamper around the whole world in search of what they want with their scrupulous scintillating ideas. However, do they get what they want? Although the resources in the world are scanty, there is a chance that they may get what they are looking for; but, again, it provides them a temporary satisfaction, not a permanent one because they are yet to identify the main object of their satisfaction. For example, a navigator looking at a seascape picture gets some sort of happiness as he knows about it and wants to be there. But, what gives him ultimate satisfaction is when he sails in the sea. Similarly, a politician might not be made happy if someone tries to scotch the scandalous rumors around him; only when the rumor origin is eliminated, he can be happy.

In summary, instead of looking or aiming for the immediate object of satisfaction, if people think and understand the underlying reason and aim for the main object of satisfaction, their lives will be more fulfilling.

Perfectionism – How it can be achieved?

Perfection in whatever we do is really a great attitude. It needs lot of spadework. After putting lot of effort, when you showcase your highbrow output to the world, there is a chance that you may either get brickbats or bouquets depending upon how they receive it. However, you should display that gentleman attitude to accept anything with a pleasing smile and take everything (including praises) with a pinch of salt. While facing scathing personal attacks, you should not lose your cool.

To be a perfectionist, one should have a hot-blooded attitude. Critiques ramble a lot about your output. However, it is up to you to decide what to take or what not to take.  There is always a person, who always tries to pull us down on our life’s high street hotbed.  There are people, who are ready to deceive you mercilessly within a fraction of a second and depart with your precious goods. However, they may take all those physical goods but not your belief, right? That belief gives you confidence and strength to tackle all odds that you face in the game of perfectionism.

A perfectionist never believes in hedonism. He believes in hard work. But during the period of preparation, every Tom, Dick, and Harry who don’t know how to clean that halitosis (unpleasant bad breath)from his own mouth, bad mouth you and your cause. Nevertheless, you should show that perseverance in the face of odds, don’t lose sight of your goal, and win the game at the end; this is how perfectionism can be achieved!

The Coffee Break

An OK time either to relax or seek knowledge in an office environment is the break time. As an employee, most of the times, you get a chance to chit chat with others during breaks. And one of the most important breaks on a working day is the coffee break. While preparing your coffee (half milk, half cream) by filling your cup with that foaming skimmed milk or waiting to have a cup of drip (filter) coffee, either ways, you find lot of time to socialize with others. As everyone knows, where there is a group, there definitely will be a sensei (master), who sports a stray hair, to lead the group. Everyone in the group respects him and looks at him for solutions to their problems. Occasionally, the sensei catches someone’s mistake during an explanation and shows the group that he is alert and kicking with knowledge. He empathizes with other employees and act as a ‘let out’ for their bottled up emotions.

In summary, although the office is spacious, every employee likes that cozy coffee corner and feels relaxed and rejuvenated just by having a thought of going for a coffee break.

Older Politicians & their Struggle

Sometimes, adults behave in an amateurish way irrespective of their age. It is a known fact that human beings, when aged, start behaving like kids. May be, this is the reason why our old politicians stick to their powerful positions until they die. At the age of 60, they declare political war on their rivals. They behave aggressively and ready to sacrifice an armada of their own men to get that political seat. At that age, normal people are expected to be chary even to do a cinch; but our old politicians defy that norm and are willing to take risks. However, they are unable to sync with the new generations expectations. Because of this, they may face discordant situations in their political life from their young rivals.

Due to their old age, they cannot speak clearly and the young generation does not have patience to hear their double dutch speeches. While escapades are the trend of young generation nowadays  and quick decision taking is expected to solve crucial issues, older politicians due to their born and brought up won’t encourage and are unable to do such kind of dare devil acts. Hence, they cannot espy the next generations’ ideas and vision.

Again, all this creates farrago of misunderstandings between older and new generations. Now, in the name of creating friendship and understanding between generations, religious priests in their traditional white smock step in to the politics, finally creating a mishmash of political ideologies, religion, and public service.

In summary, the main root cause for all this mayhem is the selfish self-promotion of older politicians, who are interested in neither public service nor country growth.

Discussions & Debates – People & their Attitudes

Discussions ending with debates and fights are common in professional life. Personal or professional meetings, where the participants are apologists, there is every chance that they raise a few incendiary topics here and there, which results into a fight among the participants.  A few people, who are unable to handle the tension raised during debates, become overwrought and start giving oxymoron speech to others out of their own confusion. Others, who are sensitive, feel that the whole episode is structured in such a way to harangue them personally.

Unless, there is a moderator, fortuitously, who can control both the parties’ denude remarks against each other and protect everybody’s ethereal sentiments, it is not possible to control the whole situation. Sometimes, when situations go out of control, people start throwing things and other chattels at each other. During this time, unless one has the body flexibility of a ballerina, it is not possible to escape from the shooting target of his opponents.

In summary, attitude of a person counts everywhere and in every context. People have to keep their cool even in bad times, which is a symbol of their gentleness.

Experience of Travelling to Unknown Locations

Life is a journey. However, there are footloose people out there who wants to make so many journeys within this main journey; means, they want to see as many places as they can within their life period. As you all know, that we all are travelers on planet Earth, which itself is moving around Sun and other celestial bodies at a great speed.

Travelling to an unknown destination is a great adventure. The whole activity offers thrill and magnanimous experience in terms of understanding human psychology in action. Language is one particular area which makes people stop in their tracks from visiting new places. Nevertheless, there are people, who use their suave techniques to cut through difficult situations without any Herculean effort.  Food is one more obstacle; so many people hesitate to try new dishes. Actually, there is no point in going that far and does not their local food. Shed your inhibitions and try to have a sumptuous lunch and dinner without any hesitations. One main caution that you should follow religiously as a traveler is that you should never jibe about the place or the people with whom you interact with. You should always act as a fly on the wall and avoid controversial discussions.

Traveling improves our understanding scope. Our superstitious way of thinking gets diluted automatically. We stop talking about jinxes and other superficial stuff. After your tour, as hindsight, if you look back at your whole traveling episode, you would come to know the beautiful truth that though our voices are different, we all are part of a madrigal.

Untouchability

Who believe in religion? Now a days, all educated people started believing in only one religion; humanity. Irrespective of your occupation, personal preferences, gender, location, family history, etc, one should get respect. Even after reaching this kind of development stage, there are places where people are still implementing uncivilized practices like untouchability. NGO consultants across the globe  are doing their level best to educate the people against these uncivilized practices using different communication channels.  Also, they are requesting, sending messages, and contacting the members of higher castes to tell them not to employ such kind of practices against certain sections of people.

In summary, people should stop implementing the uncivilized practices against certain sections of people in the name of religion, caste, creed, etc.

New Products & Terminologies

Nowadays, market is flooded with disruptive innovative products. The functionality of these new products is in such a way that the moment it enters the market, it is attracting all the demand of the related products in the market. Deep dive analytical thinking is the reason behind these kind of innovative products. Entrepreneurs are taking huge risks and are drilling down the complicated technical concepts to come up with these disruptive products. Investors, who are backing these R&D ventures, are boiling the ocean to get what they want from their scientists. Marketing people are doing their level best to market these products by creating amazing and attractive elevator pitches with granular details to booking prime time slots in communication channels to gain face time with prospects. The triangle collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, and marketing people is creating amazing results. Just like SMS has changed the way the people type their text, these new inventions have changed the people’s terminology like never before; kudos to marketing teams who have brought this kind of change in people to bring them in sync with their sales pitches. For example, people are now using ‘deets’ (Ping me your deets!) instead of saying ‘Contact Details’; instead of saying ‘shall I schedule a meeting’, they are saying ‘shall I calendarise’.

Going forward, if this kind of pace continues, we will definitely see hitherto unknown major changes both in the lifestyle and terminology of the people.

HOW TO BECOME A WRITER, INSTANTLY?

Want to become a writer instantly and publish your write-up to the world within 15 minutes? Here is the technique...

The Technique: All you have to do is to collect 10 words or phrases, which you know how to use in sentences. If you want your writing output creative enough, then you need to collect unrelated words/phrases. After collecting, try to weave either a fiction or non-fiction write-up around these 10 words. Once the paragraph writing is completed, make sure to give the write-up a title that reflects the gist of what you have written. And don’t forget to end the write-up with a summarized gist of what you are trying to say in the preceding paragraphs.

The Test: You have finished your write-up as per your satisfaction; now what? Make sure that you either send it for review or at least get it read by another person without revealing those 10 words that you have used to create this write-up. Once the reviewer ends up reading your write-up, s/he should feel that the whole write-up is talking about one particular point without any unrelated sentences. Besides, the reviewer should not find any grammar or typos in your write-up. After the reviewer waves the green flag regarding your write-up, you can publish that in your bog, proudly.

The Result: CONGRATS! You just become a WRITER and published your MASTERPIECE!
