An OK time either to relax or seek knowledge in an office environment is the break time. As an employee, most of the times, you get a chance to chit chat with others during breaks. And one of the most important breaks on a working day is the coffee break. While preparing your coffee (half milk, half cream) by filling your cup with that foaming skimmed milk or waiting to have a cup of drip (filter) coffee, either ways, you find lot of time to socialize with others. As everyone knows, where there is a group, there definitely will be a sensei (master), who sports a stray hair, to lead the group. Everyone in the group respects him and looks at him for solutions to their problems. Occasionally, the sensei catches someone’s mistake during an explanation and shows the group that he is alert and kicking with knowledge. He empathizes with other employees and act as a ‘let out’ for their bottled up emotions.
In summary, although the office is spacious, every employee likes that cozy coffee corner and feels relaxed and rejuvenated just by having a thought of going for a coffee break.
